HOW TO GET THERE

By METRO. Take the red line and get off at the station Östermalmstorg, take exit Stureplan. Walk Birger Jarlsgatan (Birger Jarls street) northwest to Stureplan square, and when at Stureplan you will see a park to the right. Kungliga biblioteket is situated within the boundaries of the park.

By BUS. Several bus lines travels to, or near, Kungliga biblioteket. We recommend that you use Stockholms Länstrafik’s online Plan Your Trip service to plan your bus (or METRO) trip.

By CAR you drive towards Stureplan. Nearest parking garage is located 50 meters from Finlandshuset Conference on David Bagares Street.

TRAVEL FROM AND TO THE AIRPORT

Stockholm Arlanda. If you arrive by plane to Stockholm Arlanda airport you can choose to go to Stockholm city center using the following means of transportation: Arlanda express, commuter trains, bus or taxi. Find out more at the Swedavia website

ACCOMMODATION

Hotel Scandic Ariadne

There are rooms reserved for reservations, during the period 4 – 10 april, until the 23th of February 2016 for workshop participants. After that date rooms can still be reserved but only if available. The rooms are available at a fixed price, SEK 1200:-/night for single rooms, SEK 1300:-/night for double rooms (two bed rooms). Scandic Continental has a prime location right in the heart of Stockholm city. The hotel is situated just in front of the main entrance of the Central Station and has a direct access to the metro, train and city train and Arlanda Express from the lobby.
